HAEMOSTASIS
PLUS BIOLOGY.

RAPIDGel is a holobiont-intact haemostatic gel derived from cold-processed pelagic sargassum. Not extracted. Not impregnated. The whole organism — holobiont intact, native fucoidan sulphation preserved — in gel form. Applied to a wound, it gels in 13 seconds, stops bleeding, and immediately begins delivering antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory biological activity.

Every existing haemostatic gel is biologically silent once clotting is initiated. RAPIDGel is not. The holobiont remains active after gelation. MRSA-active secondary metabolites, NF-κB anti-inflammatory activity, and fucoidan-driven wound healing signalling continue throughout the dressing period. RAPIDGel is the gel equivalent of what RAPIDGauze delivers in wound packing — the same supply chain, the same biological profile, a different delivery format for different wound geometries.

THREE ACTIONS.
FROM APPLICATION.

Haemostasis

13 seconds to gelation

Native-sulphation fucoidan activates platelet aggregation and initiates the coagulation cascade via direct interaction with the clotting system. Gelation occurs within 13 seconds of application. The gel conforms to wound geometry, sealing irregular surfaces that structured gauze cannot address. Compatible with all wound types from lacerations to blast fragmentation injuries.

Antimicrobial

From application — holobiont-derived

Holobiont-derived secondary metabolites with documented MRSA-active antimicrobial properties. Active from application — no lag period, no need for systemic antibiotic administration for wound-level protection. Non-antibiotic mechanism means no contribution to antimicrobial resistance. In battlefield and emergency medicine contexts where wound contamination is near-universal, this matters immediately.

Wound Healing

Continuous — throughout dressing period

NF-κB-mediated anti-inflammatory activity suppresses the acute inflammatory cascade that drives tissue death in the hours after injury. Fucoidan-driven fibroblast migration and proliferation initiates the cellular process of wound healing — not after the dressing is removed, but from the moment of application. RAPIDGel does not wait to be replaced by biology. It starts the biology.

The distinction

EVERY OTHER HAEMOSTATIC GEL GOES SILENT WHEN THE BLEEDING STOPS. RAPIDGEL STARTS WORKING.
